PUBLIC NOTICE ON INVITATION TO RE-BID (ITB)

◇ ITB NO. KEPRI-R-27052
◇ BIDDING PRODUCT: Ultrasonic Homogenizer 1Set
◇ DELIVERY: 4 weeks
◇ BID DUE DATE AND TIME: September 27th, 2007 14:00 K.S.T.

1. Bidding Method: International Competitive Bidding
The 1st negotiable bidder is awarded upon completion of the comprehensive evaluation conducted by the following procedures:
In the first stage, KEPRI will evaluate the technical and commercial information; then, select those proposals which meet the conditions and the requirements of the ITB. And, thereafter, KEPRI will open the sealed priced proposals.
In the second stage, KEPRI will evaluate all costs relating to the scope of supply, including costs for freight and insurance to unloading port, Korea and operating costs, where applicable.

3. BID BOND
A bid bond of not less than five (5) percent of the total bid value in the form of bank guarantee or surety bond, standby L/C, or Korean equivalent options shall be submitted to KEPRI by 17:00 Hours one day prior to the bid due date above..

4. REQUIREMENT & QUALIFICATION 
Manufacturer’s direct Proposal is preferable. In the event that the Bidder is not the manufacturer, Manufacturer’s regional exclusive agent or distributor having authorized certificate or a power of attorney is required in attending the bid. However, the negotiation after award shall be executed directly between the KEPRI and Manufacturer.
In case that KEPRI requests, the Bidder shall present the original Agreement of Exclusive Agent or sales representative to the KEPRI for confirmation.
